TEB has partnered with a number of organizations and agencies including: City University of New York (CUNY), Hunter College-CUNY, Administration of Children’s Services (ACS) of New York City, Center of Community Alternatives (CCA), Bloomberg Associates LLC, and Central Synagogue (Manhattan). Below provides a brief outline of the programs and services TEB provides.

System-Impacted Youth Restorative Justice Programs: TEB facilitates weekly restorative justice (RJ) programs inside New York City’s juvenile centers, Horizons and Crossroads, respectively. These programs focus on our pillar principles of reduce harm, engage in repair, and spread accountability. Youth who participate and complete each programs (~8 weeks) receive a certificate of completion as each program focuses on a theme for the young people to explore RJ both in theory and praxis.

Community Outreach: Stemming from our work with system-impacted youth, TEB does community outreach working with youth and young adults in the community. This is primarily focused on mentorship, building cultural capital, and education & workforce development and engagement.

Consulting & Collaboration: TEB works with organizations to provide expertise on a range of social issues including: youth, violence, mass incarceration, reentry, community engagement, restorative & transformative justice, and abolitionism. This is done through consulting work as well as collaborative projects based on the needs, asks, and goals.

Zine Making: Zines are short magazine style pamphlets that have a long tradition in organizing. TEB creates zines on topics of restorative justice. These are used with system-impacted youth. However, have broader reaches and can be used in community groups and beyond. Additionally, TEB can create unique zines for organizations, community groups, and others to help facilitate programs, dialogues, and mediate conflict.

RJ Workshops: TEB can provide a number of various workshops to individuals, groups, collectives, companies, and/or government agencies surrounding restorative and transformative justice. TEB is currently building out a restorative justice program to certify individuals as RJ facilitators.
